M6 closes in Staffordshire after three-vehicle crash
Drivers faced delays of up to an hour after a crash led to part of the M6 being closed in Staffordshire.
The northbound stretch between junction 12, west of Cannock, and 13, south of Stafford, was shut at 14:30 BST after a collision involving three vehicles.
Drivers were advised to use the A5 westbound and A449 northbound instead. There were delays of an hour on the M6 both ways between junctions 10A and 12.
Two of the three lanes on the closed M6 stretch reopened before 17:00 BST.
The other lane later reopened and there were no delays in the area at about 19:00 BST.
