Man imprisoned for Stoke-on-Trent manslaughter

John Clarkson was known locally in Stoke-on-Trent as Elvis
An 18-year-old man has been detained for manslaughter.
Ashley Brayford, of Stoke-on-Trent, must serve two years in a Young Offenders Institute over the death of 45-year-old John Clarkson.
Mr Clarkson, who was known locally as Elvis, was attacked in Snow Hill in Shelton in March.
Brayford pleaded guilty to manslaughter at an earlier hearing. Police said Mr Clarkson died from head injuries after being assaulted.
