Man and boy arrested over Tunstall stabbing


A man and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested after a 37-year-old man was stabbed in Staffordshire.

Police said the incident, believed to be related to a dispute between the victim and two suspects, happened in Broomfield Road, Tunstall.

The man went to an NHS walk-in centre with an abdomen wound after the incident on Sunday. He is in a stable condition, police said.

The man, 22, and boy were arrested in the Norton area.

Det Insp Rob Thompson, from Staffordshire Police, said: "We are investigating a very serious incident where a 37-year-old male sustained potentially very serious injuries.

"Thankfully the news from the hospital is that he will make a full recovery."
