Attempted murder charge over Sheffield shooting incident
A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident in Sheffield.
Jamie Lee Howden, 26, of Barber Street, Hoyland, Barnsley, was remanded in custody following an appearance at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
South Yorkshire Police said they were called to Burncross Road on 15 July following reports shots had been fired.
Nobody is believed to have been injured. Mr Howden will appear at Sheffield Crown Court at a later date.
Police said six people, five men and one woman, arrested in connection with the shooting remained on bail pending further inquiries.
