Doncaster woman Wendy Park named as third Maltby crash victim

The third woman killed in a car crash near Maltby Colliery has been named by police.

Wendy Park, 76, from Doncaster, died when the Toyota Aygo she was travelling in collided with two vehicles on Tickhill Road, Maltby, on 26 November.

Her family said she was a "kind, caring and fun-loving lady who will be greatly missed".

The driver of the car, Diana Hunt, 58, and fellow passenger, Barbara Twigg, 66, were also killed.

South Yorkshire Police said the crash involved a black Ford Focus travelling in the opposite direction to the Aygo and a van leaving Maltby Colliery.

The 28-year-old driver of the Ford Focus was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the van was not injured.
