Sheffield stabbing victim Rory Hemmings 'suffered single wound'

A man who was fatally stabbed at a house in Sheffield died from a single chest wound, police have said.

Rory Hemmings, 29, was found injured at the property in Errington Crescent on Sunday morning but later died.

South Yorkshire Police said a post-mortem examination revealed he had died from a single stab wound to the chest.

A 36-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder are being questioned in police custody, the force added.
