Darnall stabbing death victim named as Mohammed Khalil

A man who died after being stabbed repeatedly has been named by police.

Mohammed Khalil, 42, was found with serious injuries at his home in Greenland Drive, Darnall, Sheffield, on Tuesday. He died later in hospital.

South Yorkshire Police said two further arrests had been made in connection with the killing, bringing the total number of arrests to four.

Two men, both aged 20, are in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 26-year-old man detained on suspicion of murder on Tuesday is also being held in custody.

A 46-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Wednesday has been released on bail.
