Victim of fatal stabbing in Sheffield 'a cheerful lad'
The parents of a man stabbed to death in Sheffield have described him as "cheerful lad who would put a smile on anyone's face".
Joe Walker, 23, from Intake, Sheffield, was found injured just off Rayland Road, in the Manor area of the city in the early hours of Saturday.
A post-mortem examination found he died from a single stab wound.
Police said a 17-year-old male from Sheffield had been arrested on suspicion of murder and was in custody.
Officers said investigations into the exact circumstances of Mr Walker's death were continuing.
Police have been searching drains and carrying out inquiries in the area.
