Police crackdown on yob behaviour in Doncaster
Police have given out more than 200 dispersal orders to help cut anti-social behaviour in Doncaster.
From May to August officers carried out a crackdown on nuisance behaviour after complaints from local businesses.
During this time 230 dispersal order were given out which enabled police to break up groups and ban them from returning to an area for 24 hours.
Officers also seized more than 200 litres of alcohol from people drinking in the town centre.
Insp Jakki Hardy said: "We want to encourage visitors and shoppers to Doncaster town centre and ensure that they can go about their business in a safe and friendly environment."
