Man's body discovery in Weston-super-Mare 'no longer suspicious'

The death of a man whose body was found outside an address in Somerset is no longer being treated as suspicious.

The 71-year-old man was discovered in Wadham Street, Weston-super-Mare, at 17:12 GMT on Saturday by armed police responding to reports of a shooting.

A post-mortem examination has been completed which determined the man died from natural causes, Avon and Somerset Police said.

His next of kin have been informed and a report prepared for the coroner.
