Somerset motorcycle crash passenger dies

A motorcycle passenger has died after a collision involving a tractor in Somerset.

The crash happened at about 17:10 BST on Monday on the A359 near Wanstrow, between Wanstrow and Nunney Catch.

A 31-year-old man, from Yeovil, died at the scene. The motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man from Frome, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol in a critical condition, police said.

Collision investigators are appealing for witnesses.
