Chernobyl victims visit Somerset

A group of children from Belarus are spending a month in Somerset to give them access to services they do not get in their home country.

The seven to 17-year-olds have radiation-related diseases from the nuclear power plant explosion in Chernobyl 24 years ago.

They will visit a dentist and optician, and play games with other children as they stay with host families.

The visit was organised by the charity Chernobyl Children's Life Line.
