Man stabbed in head and chest in Woodside, Telford
A man suffered a collapsed lung during a "targeted" stabbing attack.
The 23-year-old was stabbed in the head, chest and leg outside a property in Woodside, Telford, Shropshire, in the early hours of Saturday morning, West Mercia Police said.
He was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital and was said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Police said the attacker was wearing black clothing and is believed to be in his 30s.
Det Sgt Dafydd Jones, from West Mercia Police, said: "We believe that this was a targeted assault and would like to reassure members of the public that they are not in danger."
