Man stabbed in neck in suspected racially-aggravated hate crime in Telford

A man was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle in what police believe was a racially-aggravated hate crime in Telford.

A 21-year old was injured when a fight broke out in a park in St Matthews Road, Donnington, at around 01:00 BST on Friday.

He has been discharged from the Princess Royal Hospital after being treated for a cut to his neck.

West Mercia Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The suspects are described as three white men in their 20s, one of whom was around 6ft tall, slim, clean shaven and wearing a grey hooded top with grey tracksuit bottoms.
