Cardeston farm wind turbine appeal upheld

A wind turbine on a Shropshire farm has been approved following a successful appeal against a decision to deny planning permission.

The structure, which has a tip height of 46m (151ft), can now be built on land at Lower House Farm, Cardeston, within the next three years.

The planning inspector said the turbine would have little impact on neighbouring properties.

An initial application was turned down by Shropshire Council last December.
