A new store is being delivered to a Shropshire village on the back of a lorry.

The purpose built shop was made in Wem and is being moved to Tibberton and put in place using a crane.

Villagers bought shares to raise the £8,000 cost of the store, which will be owned and staffed by members of the community.

The village has been without a shop since November 2010 when the shop in the village pub closed.

The shop steering group in the village said they hope to have the new store open in time for Christmas.
