The family of a 19-year-old woman who died in a car crash in Shropshire have paid tribute to their "shining star".

Kirstyn Moore, of Swan Meadow, Much Wenlock, was driving to work when the crash happened on the A458 near Bridgnorth on Saturday.

A former pupil at the William Brookes School in Much Wenlock, she worked as a hairdresser in Bridgnorth.

Her father, Wayne said his wife, Gillian and their daughters, Robyn and Taryn were heartbroken by the tragedy.

"Kirstyn loved her family, friends and life. She was our shining star whose radiant smile will stay in our hearts for ever," he said.

Miss Moore was driving her blue Ford Ka towards Bridgnorth when it was involved in a collision with a silver VW Beetle travelling towards Much Wenlock.

Her funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Much Wenlock, on 21 December.
