Pupil collapses and dies at Shropshire house
A primary school pupil collapsed and died suddenly at a house in Shropshire at the weekend.
Kayleigh Hunt, a pupil at St Peter's Primary in Bratton, Telford, collapsed on Saturday afternoon.
Paramedics were called to a house in Ketley Bank, Telford at about 1530 GMT, West Midlands Ambulance said. She was taken to Princess Royal Hospital.
Police said Kayleigh's death was not suspicious. Her school described her as "effervescent" and extremely popular.
Head teacher Rod Dean said: "Kayleigh was an effervescent character, extremely popular with pupils and staff and a keen performer and dancer.
"She was full of creative energy and everyone who knew her enjoyed her company.
"Our thoughts are with the Hunt family who will need the love and support of relatives and friends at this difficult time."
