Cheshire man killed in Shropshire accident identified


A man who died in an accident involving two vehicles in Shropshire has been named by police.

Sean Creer, 44, of Winsford, Cheshire, died in hospital following a collision on the A442 at Peplow, near Market Drayton, on Monday morning.

Police said his white Vauxhall Astravan was involved in the collision with a white Iveco box van heading in the opposite direction.

Officers said they still needed to hear from witnesses to the accident.

A passenger in the Astravan and two men in the second vehicles were also taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be serious.

A man in his 40s, thought to be from Cheshire and driving a white Vauxhall Astravan Envoy, was taken to hospital but later died.

A passenger in the Vauxhall and two men in another vehicle involved in the collision were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
