Vehicles on Oswestry Cricket Club pitch 'may be seized'

Drivers who take their cars on to a Shropshire cricket pitch could have their vehicles seized, police warned.

A number of cars have been driven on to the pitch at Oswestry Cricket Club, damaging the playing area, police said.

Community support officer Peter Roberts said there was growing concern over "anti-social behaviour by a small group of drivers".

He said one vehicle had made "quite a mess of the outfield" during a recent incident.
