Oxford murder investigation: Suspect released on bail

A man from Oxford arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail.

Jack Phipps, 53, was admitted to hospital on 22 June after an incident in Harefields in north Oxford. He died from his injuries on 1 July.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out but a cause of death has yet to be established.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on 7 July and released on police bail on Wednesday until 13 October after receiving medical treatment.
