Adrian Greenwood stabbing: Man denies fatally stabbing Oxford art dealer

A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Oxford art dealer Adrian Greenwood.

Mr Greenwood, 42, was found in the hallway of his four-storey house in the city on 7 April. He had been stabbed in the chest and neck.

Michael Danaher, 50, of Hadrians Court, Peterborough, appeared at Oxford Crown Court and was remanded in custody.

Mr Greenwood was an Oxford graduate who had written two historical biographies and traded rare books as well as art.

A trial has been scheduled to start on 3 October and is expected to last three weeks.
