Teenager fighting for life after Oxford stabbing

A teenager is in a life-threatening condition after he was stabbed on a busy Oxford street.

An 18-year-old man was found with a stab wound at about 14:45 BST on Cowley Road. Two men, aged 28 and 35, from Oxford, were later arrested.

The injured was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition, police said.

The road was shut between Union Street and Princes Street, and James Street was also closed.
