Man arrested over Oxford double stab attack in Rose Hill

A 19-year-old man is in custody following the stabbing of two men on the outskirts of Oxford.

An 18-year-old was stabbed in the chest and a 22-year-old suffered stab wounds to his chest and back. Both had non-life threatening injuries.

Thames Valley Police were called to a property in The Oval, Rose Hill, just after 19:30 BST on Monday.

The arrested man, from Oxford, is being questioned on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.

Earlier police said they were making house-to-house inquiries and looking for witnesses "who saw what happened or who may have seen people running away from The Oval at around the time of the incident".
