Boy, 10, hit and seriously hurt in Didcot crash

A 10-year-old boy is in hospital with serious a head injury after he was hit by a car in Didcot.

Thames Valley Police said a black Nissan Micra struck the boy while he was walking along Oxford Crescent in the town.

He was taken by ambulance to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford where he is undergoing treatment.

The collision happened at about 17:35 BST on Tuesday. Anyone who saw the crash is urged to contact police.
