Wallingford Community Hospital maternity unit improvements

Mothers-to-be will have better facilities after more money is spent on the maternity unit at Wallingford Community Hospital in Oxford.

About £340,000 is being used to revamp the unit with more birthing pools and en-suite bathrooms.

Currently women in the unit have to share two bathrooms.

The cash has been awarded by the Department of Health to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
