Man's neck cut in Oxford pub glassing

A man needed emergency surgery after his neck was cut when he was attacked in a pub in Oxford.

The man, in his 30s, was in the Bell and Compass in New Road in the early hours of Sunday when he was attacked with a glass.

Thames Valley Police said he suffered a "severe cut" to his neck and was taken to JR2 Hospital.

Officers said three people were arrested. The injured man is said to be in a stable condition.
