Bronze horse statue stolen from Woodstock gallery
A Macintosh-wearing thief in his 60s has stolen a unique model bronze horse from an Oxfordshire gallery.
The theft happened at about 1300 GMT on Wednesday after the man walked into the Iona House Gallery in Woodstock.
While the assistant was serving a customer the £3,000 statue - about 30cm (11in) long - which was being exhibited on behalf of an artist, was stolen.
The man was wearing a knee-length green Macintosh-style coat, black beanie-style hat and was aged in his 60s.
Police have urged any witnesses to come forward.
Pc Beth Potter, of Thames Valley Police, said: "We have some CCTV from the shop, which is currently being analysed to see whether the man can be identified."
