A doctor has been charged with two counts of sexual assaults against patients at an Oxfordshire medical practice.

Dr Yenugula Srinivas, 41, of Heathfield, Bletchingdon, is accused of assaulting two women in their 30s.

He is alleged to have committed the offences while working as a locum at the Bury Knowle Health Centre in London Road, Headington, in December 2008.

Dr Srinivas has been bailed to appear before Oxford Magistrates on Tuesday.

Thames Valley Police said any patients who are concerned should contact their medical practice.
