Murder arrest after 14-year-old dies in Nottingham

A 17-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murdering another teenager who collapsed and died has been released on bail.

Nottinghamshire Police went to a house in Tenbury Crescent in Aspley, Nottingham, at about 22:00 BST on Thursday after being told a 14-year-old boy had suffered a cardiac arrest.

He died in hospital later, police said.

A post-mortem examination into the boy's death proved inconclusive, the force added.

The 17-year-old suspect has been released pending further inquiries.
