Nottingham stabbing: Suspect held over Matthew Rothery murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager died from stab wounds in Nottingham.

Matthew Rothery, 18, was found at an address in Woodborough Road, Mapperley Park, at about 01:00 on Good Friday.

He was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham but died shortly afterwards.

A 20-year-old man, from the city, who was arrested on Sunday, remains in police custody, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The force had previously described the attack as a "serious assault".
