Two arrested over A52 Nottinghamshire double fatal crash

Two men have been arrested over a road crash which killed two people.

The collision, involving two cars and a lorry, happened on the A52 in the Bramcote area of Nottinghamshire, at 19:00 BST on Friday.

The 22-year-old and 24-year-old were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later bailed.

Two men died at the scene but no other details have been released. Lane restrictions are still in place in the area.

Police have appealed for any witnesses and particularly dashcam footage from any vehicles which were near the scene on Friday evening.
