Boy admits attempted rapes in Nottingham on same day
A 16-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to two attempted rapes committed on the same day.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted the two charges at Nottingham Crown Court as well as three assaults by penetration against two women.
The offences took place last month off an alley in Wollaton and in a street in Lenton, both in Nottingham.
The boy was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on 13 January.
Defending the boy, Adrian Langdale said the offences were "clearly out of character".
Recorder Graham Huston said reports on the teenager will be obtained by a psychologist and the youth offending team.
Addressing the boy, Mr Huston said: "I am sure you are fully aware of the seriousness of these offences."
