Further arrests over fatal stabbing of Tony Fisher

Three more men have been arrested over the death of a man found stabbed following a suspected burglary.

Tony Fisher, 58, was discovered by his son at a house on Coningswath Road in Carlton, Nottingham, on 9 January.

Simon Palmer, 43, of Daybrook, has been charged with conspiracy to rob. Two other men have been bailed pending inquiries.

Three other men have been charged with Mr Fisher's murder. They are due for trial in November.

Marcus Barton, 42, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, who also goes by the name Marcus Pegg, was charged with his murder in January.

In May, Jaydon Roberts Barton, 21, of Curzon Gardens, St Ann's, and Nathan Barton, 23, of Heathfield Avenue, Basford were also charged with the murder of Mr Fisher.  

Vincent Hawkins, 33, of Handel Street, Nottingham, has been charged with assisting offenders.

All have been remanded in custody and are awaiting trial at Nottingham Crown Court.

Mr Palmer was remanded in custody and is due to appear before at Nottingham Magistrates' Court later.
