A man has been charged with murdering a woman who was stabbed to death.

Aleksandra Mrozic, 46, died on the way to hospital after emergency services were called to reports of a fight in Kirkby-in-Ashfield in Nottinghamshire on Saturday night.

Pawel Lupa of Gleneagles Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, has been charged with her murder.

The 40-year-old is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court.

Emergency services were called to a property in Gleneagles Drive at about 23:00 BST on Saturday.

A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
