Three murder arrests over Nottingham stabbing
Three more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 21-year-old was fatally stabbed in Nottingham.
Aqib Mazhar, from the Forest Fields area of the city, was stabbed on Russell Road on the evening of 1 June.
Nottinghamshire Police said two 24-year-olds and a 21-year-old were in custody. A total of six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Mohamud Alasow, 18, from Nottingham, and Junaid Farrukh, 21, from Oakwood, Derby, have been charged with murder.
They have both been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 22 August.
A 23-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.
Police said Mr Mazhar died in hospital from his injuries.
