Tony Fisher death: Sixteenth arrest over 'burglary' stabbing

Three more people have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man found stabbed to death in his home following a suspected burglary.

Tony Fisher's body was found by his son in Coningswath Road, Carlton, Nottingham, on 9 January.

A 22-year-old man and two women, aged 24 and 26, have now been detained.

Marcus Barton, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, has been charged with murder, while 12 others arrested in connection with the death are still on bail.

Mr Barton, 41, who also goes by the name Marcus Pegg, is due at the city's crown court on 15 February after appearing before magistrates earlier this month.

Detectives believe Mr Fisher, 58, was "targeted" because it was thought he had a "large amount of money in the house".
