Tony Fisher stabbing: Man in court charged with murder

A 41-year-old has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found stabbed to death in his home.

Tony Fisher's body was discovered by his son in Coningswath Road, Carlton, Nottingham on 9 January.

Marcus Barton, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, spoke only to confirm his name and address and will appear at crown court on 15 February.

Twelve other people arrested in connection with Mr Fisher's death remain on police bail.

The home of Mr Fisher, 58, had been burgled and police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area on 8 January.
