Specialist search teams with excavation equipment are helping police look for a missing Polish man.

Bogdan Nawrocki, 22, was last seen in Radford, Nottingham, on 5 January, prompting door-to-door inquiries and a dual language leaflet campaign.

Now forensic experts and officers with dogs and diggers have been searching land off Alfreton Road.

A 27-year-old man has been charged with murder and three others remain on police bail.

Det Ch Insp Tony Heydon said: "Our inquiries have led us to believe Bogdan is no longer alive.

"I am confident that someone out there knows where his body is. If you have any information that can help us locate him and, most importantly, give his family the answers they deserve, then please pick up the phone."
