Three arrests over Ravenshead double death crash

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash in Nottinghamshire which killed two men.

The crash happened at the junction of Longdale Lane and Gorse Hill, in Ravenshead, on Sunday night.

Two men inside a silver Rover 218 died at the scene after it went off the road and hit a telegraph pole.

The three arrested men, aged 20, 21, and 28, are not believed to have been in the crashed car, police said.

A third man travelling in the Rover was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre for treatment.
