The death of a five-month-old boy in Nottingham remains "unexplained" despite a post-mortem examination.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to a house in Clementine Drive, Carlton, on Monday before the boy was taken to Queen's Medical Centre.

The post-mortem tests carried out earlier were unable to ascertain the cause of death, police said.

Further tests will be carried out but the results could take several months, a spokesman added.
