A Nottinghamshire man who was charged with stabbing his partner to death has pleaded guilty to her murder.

Geoffrey Hemming, 52, stabbed Denise Williamson 10 times at their family home in Hazelwood Drive, Hucknall, in July.

Ms Williamson, 44, was taken to hospital but died a short time later.

Hemming pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday. He is due to be sentenced on 27 January, pending psychiatric reports.
