Flintham kidnap inquiry: Five charged
Five people from Nottinghamshire have been charged over the alleged kidnapping of a man from Manchester.
Police arrested six people at an address in Flintham, near Newark, on Wednesday and a seventh in Nottingham on Thursday.
Four men and one woman have now been charged with kidnap, conspiracy to kidnap and false imprisonment.
They are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Monday. Two people were released on police bail.
The 42-year-old victim, who lives in Manchester, was taken to hospital with minor injuries, after he had allegedly been held against his will since Monday.
