Man sought over Nottinghamshire attempted sexual assaults

A man suspected of two attempted sexual assaults in Nottinghamshire is being sought by police.

Nottinghamshire Police said two women were walking along Woodborough Road in Mapperley on 1 January when a man tried to grope them.

The incident is being linked to an attempted assault on a woman on Manor Street in Sneinton on 29 December.

None of the women were injured but they have been left very shaken, police said.

'Distinctive nose'

Officers said the suspect had a "distinctive nose" which was either turned up and pointy or may have had a beauty spot on the end.

He is also described as black, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 9in tall and aged between 25 and 35.

He was wearing a dark coloured top or coat with a lighter coloured hood which was worn up. He also wore a pair of jeans with a patch on the right leg.

Patrols have been increased in the area and officers are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
