A medical centre incorporating five Nottinghamshire GP practices into one "super surgery" has been given planning permission.

Rushcliffe Borough Council said Ludlow Hill, Trent Bridge Medical Practice, Compton Acres and Southview would merge and relocate to Wilford Lane.

Musters Medical Practice is also to operate at the site, although separately. 28,000 patients registered in West Bridgford would be affected.

Building work is due to begin in May.
