Bilborough shooting: Man charged over Germaine Edwards' death

A 32-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Nottingham man who was found on a street with bullet wounds.

Germaine Edwards, 28, of Bilborough, was found shot in the abdomen in Fairnley Road just after 17:00 GMT on 17 November. He died later in hospital.

Damien Simpson, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder, robbery and a firearms offence.

Nottinghamshire Police said Mr Simpson was due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
