Body found near racecourse believed to be missing woman

The death of a woman whose body was found near a Nottinghamshire park on Wednesday is not being treated as suspicious, police said.

The body, discovered near the entrance to Nottingham Racecourse, is believed to be that of missing 48-year-old Sneinton woman Sandra Williams.

A post-mortem examination has taken place but the cause of death has not yet been established.

The body was found near Colwick County Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Ms Williams went missing from her home during the early hours of 20 October.
