Nottinghamshire lightning strike: Two moved from house


Two people have been moved out of their Nottinghamshire home after it was by hit by lightning.

Fire crews were called to the property in Welfitt Grove, Nether Langwith, near Mansfield, just before 18:30 BST on Tuesday.

Owner Dean Radford and his girlfriend were left shaken. Gas and electricity supplies were made safe.

The property is now being assessed for structural damage which has been put at tens of thousands of pounds.
