Forest Town industrial site fatality named by police

A 50-year-old man who died in an incident at an industrial unit in Nottinghamshire has been named.

Emergency crews were called to Rettenmaier UK Manufacturing on the Crown Farm Industrial Estate, in Forest Town, Mansfield, on Friday.

George Major, from Rainworth, who was involved in an incident involving industrial machinery, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A joint investigation with the Health and Safety Executive is under way.
