Man appears in court over Nottingham street stabbing

A 27-year-old man has appeared at crown court in connection with the stabbing of a man in Nottingham city centre.

The 32-year-old victim was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre after the attack on Friar Lane in the early hours of 21 November.

The 27-year-old appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday to face a charge of wounding with intent.

He was remanded back in custody to appear at the same court on 24 February 2011.
